Ok, so i'm up to episode 9 Season 4.

So far, it's a pretty good series, with effects well done, action and sub plots and main plots pretty well done.

Some annoying characters though.
Herschell (thank goodness he's gone) annoyed me with his righteous always do good talk, Andrea (another one i'm pleased is gone) was just a really lousy character, and she can't act, so a double whammy imo.

Rick, the main character is starting to get on my nerves with his to-ing and fro-ing, he's turned into a real pansy, can't or won't make decisions and has bugger all backbone.

Currently as it stands, i like Glenn the asian dude, he seems to want to actually do things and make decisions, Maggie seems ok, Daryl is pretty good,
but yea, Rick is a worry.

If you are further than where i'm up to, don't spoil it, maybe just discuss up to season 4 episode 9, which is just after the second prison attack, with the Governor.

Anyone else enjoy it? Doesn't like it? Didn't like it?

You'll like the next season, lots of character development.

As to rick, you'll love the season finale.

I thought the series started well, but the prolonged stay in the Prison really stagnated it.

As for characters, they need to learn from Game of Thrones - kill those that you least want dead.

The ones I started off disliking - Carol, Daryl, Michonne and Beth - are now the ones I'm rooting for. And Maggie, purely for asthetics, but I am willing to trade her for Rosita. :03:

As for the season finale... I'm just glad they're (shhhhhh!).

Sons of Anarchy has been doing that for six years now. Sometimes I really hate it.

I have to disagree. Over egged plots and really cheesy emotional tugs make it hard to watch. It started off well with the first season, but it palled after a while. The effects and make-up are pretty good. Seasons 2 and 3 were just dull with not much happening and some very annoying character additions.

Am i the only one who wishes carl would just die off already? Out of every other main character, i hate carl the most by far. There's only so much i can let go because of his age but hes just so incessantly agitating and whiny and stupid i just cant stand him.

The series has had a whole lot of annoying characters. Andrea was definitely up there with carl, so was shane and lauren. Personally i think the drama with the governor got old after season 3, so watching season 4 was kind of annoying, especially since there were SO MANY opportunities to kill him in season 3 that got passed up for absolutely no reason.

You might like what happens in the finale though.

Absolutely agree. Don't know if it's the kid (as in crappy actor) or just a bad script. I think both to be honest.

And then......kill him off.....deflating and kinda boring in the end.

@TarJak:
Agree, with the emotional tugs etc, that's why i couldn't stand Hershell, the old guy, forever preaching the moral higher ground.....so dam annoying in the end.

Season 1 was the best, so far, 2 and 3 meh, 4 so far, up to episode 9 has been so-so as well, like CaptainMattJ mentioned above, too much governor, and the prison scenes were concentrated on way too much, too drawn out.
I like the out in the open scenes, or when they are going for 'runs' into deserted towns etc, wish there were more scenes like that.

Same here. Not the show I wish it was; the characters do nothing but stupid stuff. You would think one of them would relish a shower or bath, but no, they have their cosplay costumes to wear, to make the show cool.

Seriously, the guy with the crossbow would have been killed on day 1, you can't do a lot of high volume firing with a bow.

Gave up after a couple of episodes in Season 2....you could say 'it died on its feet'.

Sorry folks, slightly off topic again. I'm bang up to date, awaiting the next series.

Ah yes, silly me, I forgot what happened to him. Took long enough though, should've been done many series ago. :D

Back on topic. Who's got the Walking Dead-yourself app? Stick your pics here (if no one minds).
