just got my brand new alienware laptop tried to download my favorite game sh4 and getting that error message can someone help me

YOUR GETTING THAT MESSAGE FROM A FAILED DOWNLOAD OR A FAILED EXECUTION?

Monitor?
Video card with ram and GPU speed?
CPU speed?
RAM size and speed?

Video settings?

A little information will go a long way in trying to trouble shoot your issue instead of ... it isn't working.

Hook to an external monitor.

Reduce your on board monitor to less than 75

Reduce your hardware acceleration.

Look up the actual name of the on board monitor and see if the on board card is using a basic default mode or the actual drivers for the monitor. You need to be using the monitor drivers not default mode.

Your video card may not be able to handle the load.
