Ok, maybe not, but just listen to the voice and the band....I know this music is before my time, but my father played Jo in the 60's all the time...take time to listen to that band play in the middle.... What happened to music today....

I remember hearing Jo back in the '40s, mom played that kind of music all the time. Jo had one of the best voices of all time.:up: :salute:

There is good music out there today but it's all over-processed if that's the right word.

There's a dinner club about an hour from us that is big band based, entire place is like walking back into the 40's. Some great groups come, all dressed the part. Once someone took several WW2 vets from a nursing home there and the beautiful girl went out and sang to them, held their hands and one even got up and danced with her while she sang. It was on the news and tears were running down his face. They said there wasn't a dry eye in the place.
Made me think of Wern, he always enjoyed discussing good music.

I was fortunate enough to attend a show in 1968 that featured Floyd Cramer, Boots Randolph and Chet Atkins together on the same bill. Trading off or playing together, it was one of the great memories of my life.

All three were favorites of my dad. He had a large library of their records and I used to listen to them on his console stereo when he wasn't around.

I still have an old vinyl album of Jo's. Should still be in good condition since it hasn't been played since sometime in the late 1960's. Guess that kind of dates my old butt.
