Sniper Elite V2 - free until June 5 - 10 AM PST on Steam.
I just saw this a while ago. It's close to 11 AM EST as I write this, so only three hours left if my calculations are correct.

Simply click on "Install Game" to add it to your library. There are discussions that you need to then install the game to your pc to own it permanently, but I believe once you get the message that it has been successfully added tor your library, you should be ok. I'm not 100% sure, so please don't quote me on that.
Dammit, I mistakenly read V3 and got all worked up. No wonder that video with the church looked familiar. And made no sense at the same time, since it missed the African environment. But I'm late anyway.

Snagged it. But doubt my rig can run it. :hmmm:

Pisces, I wish I had known sooner, but I posted as soon as I found out about it. :(
Red October1984 - you won't know until you install it .. and you can always lower graphics settings .
I'm not sure how gpu intensive it is, but even though it's only a couple of years old, the graphics aren't the greatest thing eye-candy-wise, although suitable enough to all the in-game building destruction.
It's a good series, and the upcoming V3 looks to fit right in as well.
I was 1 day early, I bought it on Gamersgate for 10€.
On the brightside, it came with most of the DLC.
Downside, I don't like it a bit lol

Ouch!
Out of curiosity, what don't you like about it?
I try to watch gameplay videos on YT first to see whether I'd like a game or not. Saves money on stuff that others love, but that I find out that I won't.

Had the demo awhile back....Lowered the settings and it was tolerable...but i'll try it this week and see.
My friend has it on Xbox...so I could always borrow it. He says its a really short game.

Impulse buy, read some reviews and all 5 stars.
Did the 1st mission on elite difficulty and I shot my objective in the heel and killed him ... big bummer.
A.I is stupid and have no logic at all, heard the same sentences over and over again when searching for me, at the end running in 1 by 1 just to finish them off.
Couldn't find one reason to start the second mission.
Not my type of game I guess

No worries. It's certainly a different type of shooter, that's for sure. It's not CoD, MoH, etc., but for me, I like it.
Like all games, either we like it or we don't. (says Captain Obvious :D)
