.. by France. Ok, really they are "Amphibious Assault Ships", but still they can carry "16 NH90 or Tiger helicopters, four landing barges, up to 70 vehicles including 13 AMX-56 Leclerc tanks, or a 40-strong Leclerc tank battalion, and 450 soldiers.

Apart from the medial overblown Ukraine 'crisis', I wonder if that is the right thing to do .. :hmm2:

That's no Army transport. Looks like somebody bought themselves a beautiful Huey!

The only thing missing is that the two ships get stationed with the Black Sea fleet in Sevastopol. :D

Channel your inner subsim warrior. There are two types of ship. Submarines and targets. These buckets belong to the latter category. :D

If I wanted to be honest with everyone worldwide - at the risk of offending a few, unfortunately, since blunt honesty is not appreciated :-? - , I'd just go around the group and ask everyone what the hell does France need to ask the US or NATO about, does France really need to learn anything from people coming from another continent which history is based on the achieved genocide of a human race butchered by criminals whose distant descendants precisely are those who keep criticizing everyone else for what they do ?

But well. Personally as a french man I'll just say I'm happy to see how much that industry of ours is appreciated, and how much our workers are gifted and competent - the construction process of those ships was shortened by many months. This kind of ship will probably improve the russian force projection capacities in a good way. :)

Let's just hope we little frenchies will have enough time to leave NATO so that we won't have to face those ships in that stuff looking like a probable third world war. :hmm2:

No need to worry about those 2 ships before some time though. French workers did what they were told - and so those ships will most certainly spend something like a year at some russian shipyard so that all kinds of spying devices mounted on them on behalf of the US can be removed.
