Will Silent Hunter Online be like SH5?
If not, will they ever get better, as in, gameplay?

Keep in mind that Silent Hunter Online is a browser game. There are limitations in comparison to SH5.

Greetings!
I didn't want to start a new thread so here it goes.
Gave SHO a shot after reading about it on the forum and i was expecting a very bad game.
Instead i found a very enjoyable game and considering that it is a browser game i think it is the best browser game i ever played (compared to what is out there hehe).
So yeah, i am very satisfied with this, i love how it is casual but also rewards time spent in it. It's not GWX and it will never be but for an hour a day that i spend when at work i really get my kicks from it :D
I don't understand why so few play it? Is there a catch that i don't see? Maybe pay to play or?

I think it's the cancellation of the game this spring. I'd play it a lot more if I knew there was a future, but as it stands I can't really motivate myself to log in when I know that development has been ended, and the game will never be finished. Which is too bad, because I have had lots of fun with it, and was looking forward to more. Alas, it was not to be.
