Hello gents. I rediscovered subsims a few years ago when I bought my copy of Silent Hunter 3 after glimpsing some reviews on some site. It was a hasty decision, but one which never turned to be disappointing at all!
My first contact with submarine simulators was a ... million years ago, Silent Service (1 or 2, I can't remember, maybe both?) on my Commodore C64. How much did I enjoy that game!!!
In between I vaguely remember a Los Angeles class simulator (can't remember the title, but I remember an Alpha class too) and Red Storm Rising on Amiga, which was also fun.
But not so fun as SH3. I fell in love with the game, although I found it a little bit more difficult, but what the heck, I am older and supposedly wiser so I took on the challenge and thorougly enjoyed it.
Still, I do have some questions about the game and this is how I bumped on the site.
Nice "meeting" you.
