If true, this would be fat tobacco, even for the standards of an islamo-fascist treacherous rat like Erdoghan I. , Sultan of Greater Turkey.

It would not be the first time he acts like that. Staging events to lure the West into action, and wile doing that: even killing people, has become a speciality of this rat. Not to mention the de facto dictatorship he establishes in Turkey itself.
Recently, recordings were shown at youtube that included high ranking Turkish politicians who discussed how one could trick NATO into a war in Syria and how one could stage incidents that would convince Burssels that it indeed should get engaged. Short after these recordings were posted, Erdoghan blocked youtube in Turkey. Different to Twitter, which also was blocked over recordings showing Erdoghan'S closest circle being corrupt, and by a high court later was ruled to be unblocked again, youtube still is banned in Turkey.
That Turkey has supported the radical fanatical Al Nusra front, has been known before.

If the Turks want to conduct a war with Syria, and by extension, Russia... They'll need to grow a really big pair and do it on their own.:stare:
Not sure where this information came from ....but Turkey and Syria have also history of cooperation with current turkish leadership including military.
Till the current mess in Syria.
Erdogan is not very smart yet tries to be sneaky so all is possible lol.
...Same can be said about syrian regime though so... whatever.

Erdoghan and Assad both are ruthlkess autocrats. But Erdoghan also is a radical fundamenalist who plays the game of trojan democracy only. He has supported the religious fanatic radicals from beginning on. When Assad, struggling for survival, started to play tough and nasty, he was starting to spit black spots onto Erdoghan's wanted white jacket, and Erdoghan also saw what the revolutions did to the autocratic leaderships in this ominous Arab "Spring".
It then was clear that Erdoghan needed to get rid of this friendship with Assad whom before he called a true Muslims who because he were Muslims would be unable to ever do something wrong, and also called him the closest ally of Turkey.
That also Sunni Saudi-supported and Shia Iran-supported proxy play in syria, does not make things easier. Me thinks NATO should engage - and bomb the whole damn ME into oblivion before they start to get nukes. Iran is close, and once Iran got them, most others will follow. That is a nightmare scenario. Will make us miss the cold war.

Well, the Turkish government will have to. I doubt many ordinary Turks want a war.
But then again, do governments really listen to the people anymore? :dead:

Have you recently checked how their elections went along? European commentators spoke of a landslide victory for Erdoghan - despite the many revelations about his foul play, nepotism, corruption, cheating and conspiracy. Erdoghan is as popular in Turkey as Putin is in Russia.
The turn towards more religious orthodoxy that he has caused, also is welcomed by many Turks. Back then when I was there (mid 90s), it was the vast majority.
Was that yell of despair I just heard coming from Brussels? :D
