Just want to know if my rig would be able at handle SH5, because SH5 sure sounds like it's getting good. I know Ubi's forum is the best place to ask, but I'm not a member there so I thought I'd ask here first.

I'm running a dual core, 2 ghz Athlon with 2g of ram. Win XP (SP3, 32bit), and a Nvidia GT240 w. 1g. ram. S-l-o-w internet connection (dial-up:88)).

It seems to be capable, based on Ubi's minimum requirements (other than internet speed), but I'm interested in hearing real players feedback. I will only be on-line for the initial registration and upgrade of the launcher - I've no intention of playing on-line.

ubi lies on system specs (all games do), they always claim you need less then you really do to run the game so you have a larger customer base to buy your games. with all game the rule of thumb is you always need double the ram and a series or two better video card then they say you need but with what you have the game should work I think, albeit it may have slow frame rates and a little lagging. the specs games list are just the bare minimums to run the game on low settings and the game will load and run but not at decent frame rates or being able to use the high settings.

its a good game and its cheap so I would say buy it no matter what, even if it turns out your computer cant run it to your satisfaction and have to wait until you get a better computer, its still a good investment in a good game.

The game is broken without the unofficial patcher and lots of mods . So how will you download those ?

Thanks Capt.

I do not think the broadband speed is important unless you are a multiplsayer.

Set Uplay to offline mode.
