Odd color and CTD with No Mods

I've tried searching first to see if this has happened to anyone else before and what I get is a long list of threads that don't seem

to have anything to do with what I'm looking for. When you see my screenshot below, it's odd. It's only 2 tone, but that's just on

the outside. If I make it below deck (if I stay above for more than 10-15 seconds, the game freezes), everything looks normal. Then

if I go back to the conning tower, everything is 2 tone. Under water looks normal. Everything looks normal except when I'm on the

conning tower.

Even when I'm docked, it looks normal.For the purpose of these screenshots, I'm not using any mods. My game is up to date to V1.2

and my graphics card has the latest device driver (AMD Radeon HD 7900 (driver dated 12/6/2013, driver version 13.251.0.0)

It's kind of hard to see, but it's all 2-tone.

However, when I'm docked, it all normal.

Any ideas?? I have the STEAM version of the game. I have also uninstalled it, and reinstalled it. After uninstall, I deleted my SH5 Docs folder.
