SH5 official patch questions.

After a lengthy absence I reinstalled SH5 and patched it to v1.1 via the ubisoft website. I've heard there is a V1.2 and even an unofficial V1.3 patch, but the pages I try and download the v1.2 won't load for me. can someone please provide me with links to both the patches.

PS Or you can run Silent Hunter 5/Support/GameUpdater/gu.exe as administrator to patch the game to the latest version.

So Generic Patcher v1.0.161.0 is actually the unofficial v1.3 patch?

So Generic Patcher v1.0.161.0 is actually the unofficial v1.3 patch?Its the unofficial next patch after 1.2 , made by a modder . Apply the patch and then add whatever mods you want .

Do I need to install the generic patcher or can I install my own mods. Looking it over, it seems like there is a lot that has to be done to activate it and I am not very computer tech savy.

Using my Generic Patcher is very easy if you are not using the Steam version of the game. See the bottom of post #1 of it's thread in the SH5 MODS forum for tutorials and how-tos :up:
