View Full Version : Mod order - CTD pls help :(

Hey everyone,

this is my actual mod load order and i have a CTD everytime i go into the hangar (from a new game, i hear the sound and than i get CTD):

Historical Missions are working without CTD.

Schleichfahrt 1_0a part1
UI-Boat V5.02
RAOBF for UI-Boat by Luken
DynEnv 2.9 - Main Mod
DynEnv 2.9 - Camera Filters
DynEnv 2.9 - Ambient Settings Darker nights
DynEnv 2.9 - Sleet for Winter campains
DynEnv 2.9 - clear water surface
DynEnv 2.9 - wave mechanics Hurricane
DynEnv 2.9 - Seafloor high resolution
DynEnv 2.9 - Sea Plants Atlantic Kelp Forests high resolution
DynEnv 2.9 - Sounds
Schleichfahrt 1_0h part2
DynEnv 2.9 - Sobers best ever tweaks
Schleichfahrt 1_0h german patch

can somebody help me pls? :hmmm:

UI-Boat v5.02 is a bit old hat when you put it up against mods like TDW's NewUI 7_4_2

Only 2 of the mods in Sobers Best Ever Tweaks are current.

All the others have later versions.

You can download mods from Sober Downloads and enable individually

Then delete Dyn Env mod Sobers Best Ever Tweaks.

Sorry I cannot help you with your question as I am not familiar with your mods apart from UI-Boat

I have been investigating your your German mods and they look like they would work well with this interface.

CSP Magui interface SH5 v3.01.

Sjizzle is heavily into this mod and there is a lot of information on the Forum.

Thank you for your help THEBERBSTER, i will try it today. :salute:

update: ok it works now! But i had to delete the SH5 folder in C:\Users\*name*\Documents so the game can create it new and deletes old and wrong configurations.

Now I can play "Schleichfahrt" with NewUIs_TDC_7.4.2_ByTheDarkWraith and Dynamic Environment 2.9.

If you run Schleichfahrt - make sure you have the correct load order.

actually, i try "The wolves of steel" (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/downloads.php?do=file&id=4298) because I want to have all features of the dynamic environment mod. If I use the correct load order, does Schleichfahrt overwrite some files of the DynEnv-Mod, so that I have not all features?

You can try this out by doing it yourself. Let JSGME enable Schleichfahrt after DynEnv-Mod. JSGME will show you a dialogue window of what files from DynEnv-Mod are being overwritten if applicable.

Not sure, I've tried the Schleichfahrt a long time ago so I don't remember.
But you could always try to enable the Dyn Env last in JSGME and check what files it overwrites.
Even if it does - make a test run to check if everything runs fine.

If all runs OK, this way you'd keep all the features of the Dyn Env.
