Hey everyone, I'm completely new to the whole "MOD" thing but would like to download some for silent hunter 4, could someone give me some advice on how to do this?

There are lots of mods in the Downloads Section for SH4. Also check out the mods forum for it.

Thanks guys! I've now figured out how to download mods and install them to the game using JSGME, but when i do it doesn't work, is there a certain series of mods i need to get before trying certain ones?

RS, check out this post of mine. I speak about making a JSGME compatible mod. And what I am getting at with you is make sure the mods you have downloaded have the right file structure. Some modders put their mods in a separate folder, so you have to first take the mod out of the folder you unzipped and then place it in JSGME, then activate. And best to be in port when doing this for most.
