When I was an IEMT student we used to fight for duty tonight. We used to call it "amateurs night". Always good for getting in a few field techniques.

My local no longer serves Guinness, but has Oyster Stout instead - So I'll get a couple of cans on the way home. To be sure.

Probably a little over ten years ago but I remember the greeting 'Top of the morning to you' whilst in Dublin and Cork :)

Oh come on, next you'll be saying that you don't say 'fiddle-dee-dee'!
My mum was born in Cork, and I've heard her say the words 'to', 'be', and 'sure' before*.
*OK, maybe not all in the same sentence, but that proves nothing, Your Honour.

:Kaleun_Party::Kaleun_Cheers:I trust your well into a celebratory pub-crawl in beautiful Galway by now! I'm GREEN with envy!
Oh yes!!!
Been off work today. Was also off work the same day last year. And the year before. And next year too. Thank you St. Pat.
Started the day watching a very interesting fly on the wall reality series. TV documentary at its best. A socio-economic study of life in a modern European city. It's called 'Mrs. Brown's Boys'. Highly recommended.
Followed by another documentary series on the life of the clergy and the effect on rural society called 'Father Ted'.
All the best to all. Slainte:Kaleun_Cheers:
