I have searched everywhere to try to learn how to track contacts with the hydrophone. Measuring speed, course, distance. All the links I have found are dead. The videos on youtube are too fast for me to understand them well.
I'm plaing SH3 with GWX mod.
PLease help, I'm going crazy:/\\!!

This is available in-game in several GUI mods - I don't recall which. Google "Three-Bearing AOB Finder" and they should turn up. Or you can make a hand-held DIY version.
- the Hydrophone Tracker, which is a useful stand-alone tool, if you are OK with non-imbedded tools:

It also includes a good tutorial document, Sonar_Tracking.pdf which can help answer your question. Worth downloading just to get the pdf.
- hsGUI has a lot of useful material in its Documentation folder, including Documentation/U-Jagd_Tools/Passive sonar approach using sliderules and ISWAS.pdf.. Find it here:

The documentation with hsGUI also shows how to use the angriffscheibe, the two-sided sliderule and bearing calculator, and the RAOBF, both of which are found in the hsGUI mod and several others. These too you can either use in-game or make hand-held versions.

Don't forget to search in youtube on "4 bearing method Silent Hunter".
For example Stoianm has a 4-part videos that shows the commonly known 4-bearing method. I can't get it in good resolution quality, and his speech might be tricky to follow, but he does it quite well. And it totals almost an hour in length.

Even though it is done in SH5 doesn't matter, as it is only a drawing technique on the map that you need to perform. And that can be done in 3, 4, 5. But easy to use mousecursor mods (like mine here (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?p=919104#post919104)) do help a lot.
Just a note on the Three-Bearing AOB Finder link that BigWalleye gave. I made that, and it only can be used to calculate what the AOB (and thus find approximate course) is at the first bearing (but at bearing 2 and 3 it is just a bit more, the same amount as the bearing has changed so far) It can be used as a confirmation tool to check if you did your bearing drawings right. But it can't help with calculating range and speed, as you can in the latter parts of the 4-bearing method.
If you have trouble understanding some explanations then please describe which tutorial you watched or are reading, and which step is confusing or hard to understand. I'll be glad to help. Also, if some links that you found to be dead were posted by me then please say which. I may be able to correct the links.

I made that, and it only can be used to calculate what the AOB (and thus find approximate course) is at the first bearing (but at bearing 2 and 3 it is just a bit more, the same amount as the bearing has changed so far) It can be used as a confirmation tool to check if you did your bearing drawings right. But it can't help with calculating range and speed, as you can in the latter parts of the 4-bearing method.
The Three-Bearing AOB Finder is just a tool for calculating the (initial) AOB analytically, rather than by geometric construction. It is based on the geometry of the Four-Bearing Method and uses exactly the same data. It uses the first three bearings of the Four-Bearing Method to calculate the initial AOB (from which, as you say, the second and third AOBs are easily calculated.) Having determined the initial AOB, continue the Four-Bearing method to get range and speed geometrically. The Three-Bearing AOB Finder saves some time and some of the inaccuracy of trying to do the whole problem by geometric construction. And oftentimes the Three-Bearing AOB is all you need, using other methods to determine range and speed, in which case the Three-Bearing AOB Finder is much faster.
