INSURGENCY
Take to the streets for intense close quarters combat, where a team's survival depends upon securing crucial strongholds and destroying enemy supply.
The follow-up game to the award-winning Source mod, Insurgency is highly competitive and unforgivingly lethal, striking a balance between one-life gameplay and prolonged action.

My short review
Well, I played the mod for HLČ a few years ago and already enjoyed it. The stand-alone release though, is really really good and reminds me a lot of Red Orchestra despite the typical modern shooter setting.
The shoot-outs are great fun, intense and when you see the enemies face transforming into a red mass, you feel like you've achieved something.
It is easy to learn and best played with some friends who are into communication and tactics. Many games promise this these days, claiming how super tactical they are, but in the end you just find yourself playing Counter-Strike again... boring.
INS also features a COOP mode where up to 16(?) players gang up on the not-too-stupid insurgent bots. So far, my favorite game mode to be honest, since you can really shine as a team in this mode by applying real life cqb tactics to some extent without the super-competitive and hectic pvp-action.
Workshop integration is being worked on, so we can expect to see custom content later on.
Oh, and the price is absolutely fair, around $20 I guess!
Note: If you have any questions, shoot.
