Hello everybody.
My name is Jonas, im 21 Years old and I live in Australia (even though I'm german). I started playing silent hunter 2 when i was very young and i didn't have a clue what i was doing. but it was amazing. my dad ended up explaining me how to use everything and how a submarine works. We even went to the german navy memorial in La Boe in Kiel, where i saw a world war 2 submarine from the inside for the first time. It was both awesome and terrifying. That was the point where i became interested in the mechanics behind submarines.
i attempted playing silent hunter 3 and 4 quite a lot, and lately found my way into silent hunter 4 and 5. the learning curve is steep quite steep but im doing alright. im still considered a noob and i dont have a clue how to use TDC and all the other stuff, but at least i dont sink every 10 minutes like i used to. Im an enthusiast for simulators in general and play the X series and several combat flight and military simulations.
While i am here i thought i can also help whoever is running the show here out, and become an Ace of the Deep, even though i think of myself more as a victim of the deep.
ps: I also hope that somebody (if thats not too much to ask) can provide me with some kind of... resource where the process of firing a torpedo manually is explained in detail and easy to understand.
