I have a question I need an answer to.

I'm playing a new game I have purchased and in this game I'm controlling some American warship, among these a CLL.

I turn the ships so every turret is free toward the target, but when I give the order to attack a target, the ships turn, so the front is toward the target.

Is that a normal procedure's when engaging the enemy?

I thought that they would turn so as many guns was aiming at the target.

It was my understanding of surface gun engagements that you would want to "cross the T" That is presenting a broadside aspect to maximize the amount of firepower available, while minimizing the enemies ability to engage.

Here's the wiki on it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crossing_the_T

Yes, you want to keep your full broadside to the enemy. If your ships are turning toward him, effectively letting him cross your 'T', the the game is doing something wrong for you.

Always keep broadside on to bring maximum guns/firepower to bear on the target.

Thank you for your reply. I was thinking right then.

Going to send an bug-file to the developer of this game.
