Re-falling in Love with SH5, but the frozen flags, Grrr!

I'm just curious, with all the mods I've installed, it's somewhat surprising that the "frozen flags bug" has no fix. It's certainly not a show stopper and Silent Hunter 5 is still a fantastic sim. But perhaps that's why it breaks the immersion so badly for me. The ship models and graphics are beautiful, even years afterwards, still stunningly crisp with reflections and water churning. I'd sure enjoy seeing those flags fluttering again if someone knows how to "put some wind in my sails" please let me know. If not, I'll continue enjoying spotting those ships with flags that look as though they were dipped in liquid nitrogen before being raised on the mast. :-P

EDIT: This issue has been resolved. I rearranged some of my mods and the "frozen flag" bug just disappeared. Have confirmed this through roughly 5-6 hours of playing, so I really doubt it will resurface at this point.
This game is just so awesome when modded properly. Just so beautiful. I have many games, but Silent hunter 5 is just so easily my favorite one. All I need to do is watch some WW2 documentary programs on National Geographic channel, and I immediately get the U-boat itch. To anyone frustrated with getting the game to work, I strongly urge you to seek out the solutions to your problems on the forums and to not give up hope. Especially if you really have a passion for this game. There is a solution for every problem with the modding community always hard at work. I went through some pretty serious headaches and very nearly threw in the towel myself. I'm just so glad I didn't. This time, I'll go through the war completely.
