Numerous errors in the SH3 intro video

I just watched the intro video of sh3 and I noticed many factual errors:
1 Hydrophone operator has the needle pointing at 000 and he reports a contact a 311.
2 The captain orders periscope up and the proceeds to turn the periscope into the sun ,blinding him and giving away his position to the ever alert escorts
3 The same captain then decides to attack on the surface despite daylight conditions

Ultimately, it's just a short intro whose only goal is to look fancy and make you feel like playing the game itself. You don't have to take it seriously since it was made by animators and not by graduated U-boat experts. I firmly believe Silent Hunter III (with one of its supermods) has the most realistic, most authentic and most intimate atmosphere of its genre for almost 9 years, no matter how many errors the intro has.

yes i agree but still i wonder how many astute SH3 players ever noticed.It took me half a year.

I never cared. I've been using SH3 Commander's function that disables it for many years now.

If it bothers u that much you can delete it without causing any loading errors it skips it entirely then or just press spacebar its kept in the videos folder titled intro

Theres also a little language error the video is in german and the kaleun say rhoar einz fire i think rather than los! Los literally translated means "away"
