Hey all ! I have been playing a pirated version of SH3 on and off since it came out. I thought it was about time to go legit LOL. What I'm wondering now is wether to get SH4 or 5? I really would like to play US subs...Atlantic or Pacific. Also I see there are several Mods to go with either 4 or 5. I played SH3 with the Grey Wolves mod and absolutely cannot play without it. Anyway I'm looking for advice on which game to get from steam and of course, what people think is the ESSENTIAL mod pack to compliment it. looking around the forums here I see that you guys get 6.5% if it's purchased through Amazon.... well I have yet to get either SH4 or 5 and might as well get it from amazon :) instead of steam. Just waiting on a reply as per my 1st post !! Ahoy !

For me SH4 wasn't the greatest* after SH3, for me it was too blue, too large, too boring - but I'm certain there will be great mods to improve that but the US boats never gained much attention from me. Obviously it's the one to get if you want US boats.

For the cost of them you may as well buy all three.

*just my opinion, not trying to flame or insult any SH4 players. :sunny:
