Is it possible to alter the basic cfg file to have no fatigue such as I did in SH3 works great, if so where can I get instructions with the correct changes to make?

There is no real need to do that in SH4 as the crew not only automatically rests but unless you've gotten some of them killed it will automatically rotate to the next shift.

Thank You, if I do get some killed say in a saved mission how can I replace them?

As far as I know you can't. You'll just have to either load from a previous save or wait until you can get new crew at port.

Throw them over board or use them for a hull breech. Stuff their bodies in the hole. That was what we were trained to do in the Navy LOL
To get rid of the dead in the game go to home port and remove them.

Just put em the aft battery on ice.....
You can adjust the crew fatigue levels. Trav did it in his mod, but for the worse...more so if someone was injured. The files escape me now as I haven't played with them in a long time, but I think we have a few threads that could be found. You can also adjust the special abilities to your liking, ratings, etc...

I'd love a random injury report with a downed man ... happens in real life.

I'd love to have storms, mechanical breakdowns, and the danger of men being washed overboard ....

Technically you get one....the crew screen shows all injured players and percent injured. If you got a separate report, get a lil hectic. Honestly, the game gives far too much immediate info on injured crew, damages, etc...this info would be slow coming in, more so when under attack.

yes, I have a mod for it
its a very simple text edit fix, but as others mentioned its not really needed as it was in sh3 and you don't need to manage your crew the way you did in sh3 either
