Either the second comming or "god" was horny again and made another virgin birth happen are the only explainations that would support her claim of not knowing.

Actually people have been pregnant before and not know it. It's rare but it does happen.

Some Maria comes to mind ..
OT:
Joseph and Maria arrive in a small town, an Maria now feels it is about time. So Joseph knocks on a door, until an unfriendly man opens.
Joseph: "Please, we need shelter, my wife is pregnant and gets her baby anytime soon!"
The house owner: "What do i have to do with that ?"
Joseph: "And me ?!!"

Exactly and it's not like she said she didn't know she had had sex...

If your having difficulty comprehending your comments regarding priests you'll leave me little choice other than making a definitive decision.
Now, quite simply 'cut it out or face the consequences'.

Sorry I forget those statements are offensive to some people despite the actions of the pope to "defrock" preist caught in such actions which is at an all time high. to which i can provide sources to. but i will cease and desist.
I was mearly inquiring to the rule I was getting close to since I talk about that with my mother and family all the time. But then again we are jewish so topics like this are openly discussed I always forget that that my family has an open topic policy that many other families or places do not have. So I am assuming it goes under the editorial section. I am getting ready to edit my original post that has me under fire though. I apologize for any people I have offended with an off hand joke/statment that is common among my people.

We had a call when I was on the squads in Nebraska. Petite woman, flat stomach, already had kids, was convinced there was no way she was pregnant. Then she crowned in the ER. :o
The attending doctor summed it up in one word -- denial. Some women are in such a state of denial (for myriad reasons) that they can, to some extent, even convince themselves.
The problem with pregnancy denial is that in about 40 weeks, it gets a lot harder.
Some women are in such a state of denial (for myriad reasons) that they can, to some extent, even convince themselves.
I can easily imagine a Nun being in denial over being pregnant.

Well sh was "fired" over it so thats one reason to deny it.
Funnly enough sh named the kid after pope francis... loyalty to the end it seems. Not that I really care but wonder what she will do now. Nun does not really seem to look good on a resume, atleast to me.
Also I think the Anti-crist would be an upgrade to politicians. We know what he would be doing/planning:har: And for many wouldn't that mean the "second coming" would be around the corner? :hmmm:

I can easily imagine a Nun being in denial over being pregnant. Now that's pure comedic Gold, Frank nonsense and Myrrrth- if ever...only denial if along a mud riverbank in Old Egypt with a floating basket on hand!:smug:

Interesting.
Before I posted my request for a link I checked a bunch of news websites sites and none of them have mentioned it. It may be true but given the lack of confirmation and the tabloid writing style of that article you posted I still wonder if it's accurate.

August like I said before and it is known in the church as well they take oaths that she will have broken and the penalty for breaking them is dismissal since they are no longer consided "pure to god"
Edidt another artical
http://au.ibtimes.com/articles/534974/20140119/el-salvador-nun-gives-birth-names-baby.htm
But it is hard to find articals on it. I think it is because there is little to anything to sensationalize, so little the newsstations can get ratings on. The only "sensasional" news to them is the birth of a child. the only articals I am finding are from friday and early saturday after that the subject deems to vanish.

Well we'll see. It's up to the Pope and all bets are off with this one.

Actually it isn't always up to the pope. He has more important duties after all, the direct superior can make the decision, in this case the mother superior and/or the bishop of the local covenant. Due to the nature of Catholicism though the decision will likely be made by the bishop.
While the new pope is more open-minded about this stuff the policy will have to be changed for the nun to stay in. Such changes are curretly unlikely given the current political layout in the vatican. But with the Oaths they swear due to the fact they believe Jesus to have remained a virgin and again as I stated before interferes with their "purity" in the eyes of god.
I know I am jewish but I have made it a point in my life to understand and study other religions workings especially christanity and catholicism.

Why not try the virgin birth defense, it worked for that harlot Mary, who screwed everyone but Joseph, allegedly. (don' wanna get sued for slander) the 3 wisemen don't give gifts for naught.
Likely excuse for an adultress, who shoulda been stoned, but called the mother of god. Filthy whore, poor Joseph.
This thread title is almost an invitation to bash religion.
I am glad I do not subscribe to dogma as easily as others.

He wants his beliefs enforced and mine quashed.

A lot of the reaction from here depends on why you posted what you did. Was it meant to be a joke? You have to admit it was in poor taste.
Do you really believe the Mary was a slut rather than a virgin as advertised? You could be right, but if so you could at least discuss it in a civil manner.
Did you post it just to get a rise out of people? Then you are guilty of trolling and will probably get some kind of trouble for your efforts.
Do you really want to be banned? It can be arranged, but we'd rather not, unless you force it on us.

I apologize to RickC Sniper, as I went into full bulldog mode.
I can understand his reaction to it, truly I do, but he just shouted enough!, someone "take care of this", he then quoted my next post, like a first grader telling on a classmate for making mouth farts.
If he woulda quoted my post and said, "dude, thats messed up" I might have apologized, but it was answered with BAN PLOX!
So, hence my reaction.
