Flower corvette + homing torpedo = CTD!

Anybody experienced this? Whenever a homing torpedo hits a Flower corvette my game CTD's...sometimes with a normal torpedo, too...

No additional mods? Seems to be a hardware problem.
Maybe you are on a minimum configuration?
Or you simply run a dusted GPU resulting in a heat problem?

Not necessarily. It does not happen with other types than the Flower.

Don't have any better advice but avoiding torpedo attacks on Flower class corvettes. :)
Or switch to command room right before impact (if the problem is graphics related).

Well, that's what I had to do eventually - avoid Flowers as a whole....:)...Maybe in the next war.
