I notice that also, yesterday. I assume it turns off the default easy mode SH5 has for things and enables a more realistic and hard mode.

That's polite name for the stupid and idle code written by developers :)

Thanks. I have been to that thread, but I have not made it through all 101 pages yet.

I did a ctrl+F kiddy on the first page and got no hits though. I did a "search in thread" and found this:

I call 'kiddy factors' any code that reduces the chances of failures and/or events from happening. Majority of the time these 'kiddy factors' severely reduce the chances of you encountering any type of failure and/or event. These 'kiddy factors' make the game gamey and take away from the realism :yep:
