Looks like it took someone an awful long time to wake up and smell the coffee :)

The Zimbabwean ambassador to Australia has claimed asylum, branding President Robert Mugabe's government "illegitimate", local media report.

The Canberra Times newspaper posted a video of Jacqueline Zwambila saying that July's elections in Zimbabwe had been "stolen".

"There's no way I would feel safe to be in Zimbabwe or go back," she said.

Mugabe "illegitimate".
And a dictator-slayer. But the ambassador sure felt safe, in the last years ..

Yes you do, hes that man you invited around six months ago to get rat arsed on beer while knocking back croc burgers. Clearly hes on his way around to your gaff with suitcases and his ten wifes.

You're forgetting the AWM and my Uncle. And my Uncle's work at the AWM. They would make anyone want to stay.

Anyway, better late than never to abandon a dictatorship.

She has walked away from her post and moved out of her official residence with only four days remaining in her tenure, in order to seek asylum?
Oh please....
She is\was a political pawn, and her time on the chessboard is over.

Shouldn't she go back home and fight the good fight from within?, Rev. Paul Black says she has a very good case for asylum, well, on the basis of that statement so does the rest of the population of Zimbabwe. :nope:

Self preservation first I assume and the people of Zimbabwe second, she's had a life of luxury since 2009 and she wants it to continue for her and her family, your immigration minister should decline her fine offer and send her back home where she belongs.:yep:
