uplay update

Hi some help needed i have just tried to start the game but it ran a uplay update first now it say`s i have to first login to uplay if it`s my first time on this computer.
Its not the first time by a long way but have tried login but it will not except my email account or password so tried a new account but will not except my email address but my login name is is taken
anyone else having problems?
ps i had offline ticked when playing last

Untick always play offline in the settings then quit the uplay . Use your username and password you first played SH5 with . The uplay will download any extra files . Quit uplay and change settings back to always play offline .

how do i get to the loading screen to get settings choice , as i only get the uplay register with email and password choice i look in launcher file an did not see a settings file .

ps will uninstalling the launch work
