Absolutely disgusting. He has done so much for his country and that's what he got in return? Sickening and something I had expected of the Nazis not the UK.:nope:

The "pardon" (what for again?) was long overdue.

Never a doubt that bad exists in Non-Nazis.

The original verdict was a state crime. Period.

The pardon is a bad joke.

At least they beat out the Vatican. It took the Roman Catholic Church 359 years to admit it had erred in condemning Galileo for asserting that the Earth revolves around the Sun. What used to pass for heresy boggles the mind.

The pardon is a bad joke.

For sure. Why bother. I were a member of his family I would tell them to shove it.

There is actually little the government can do to make amends. Pardoning is probably the best.

However, a pardon is the government forgiving a convict for their crimes. Not exactly appropriate, but perhaps it helps his estate.

What would be more appropriate would be a formal apology from the Queen where she asks his family for forgiveness.

:hmmm:
Sounds to me like A&E is getting ready for a new reality show with the Queen and wants to resolve any problems over Phil's rageing stuff.
:haha:
