View Full Version : German parliament confirms Angel Merkel for new term
Angela Merkel has been confirmed as German chancellor for a third term, at the head of a grand coalition, by a vote in the Bundestag (parliament).
The coalition between her centre-right CDU/CSU bloc and the Social Democrats (SPD) has a huge majority, with 504 of the 631 seats in the lower house.
Mrs Merkel was confirmed by 462 votes, with nine abstentions.
Germany's tough stance on fiscal discipline is unlikely to change under the new coalition.
The SPD's membership voted on Sunday to back the coalition after painstaking negotiations.

You wonder why I say nothing? That'S because nothing of importance or interest has changed. That election result feeds the media show like posting feeds the trolls, a show of deception and hysteric "actionism". There are five conspiring socialist groups sitting in parliament who all want the same, but claim to want it being done slightly different. They all want to print money like crazy, they all want to expropriate private German wealth, they all want more power and control over people and their lives, views, thinkings and private businesses, and they all are drunk of the idea to have the EU as a new GDR 2.0 installed continentally. Thgey all are obsessed with their idea of how important they are themselves and that the people owe them therefore, they all parasitically live by a regime invented and installed by themselves, with a feudalistic self-understanding and with rules they have designed to protect themselves and legitimate their own plundering of the people, and to destroy Germans' freedom and self-responsibility - and Germans do not want that freedom and responsibility anyway, they just do not care. So I conclude that they probably are not worth any defence anyway. You cannot give freedom to somebody. Either he takes it with determination, no matter your reaction and will, or he doesn't. If he doesn't, he remains to be a slave, even if you "give" him freedom. That is freedom of the kind of a pet cookie you give to your dog to show him how much you like your pet.
So, there really is no need for commenting because there is nothing worth to be commented. Nothing has changed, nothing will change, they all drive us deeper and faster into the collapse.

:O:
Kohl, former chancellor of West (capitalistic BRD) Germany, and Honecker, 'dictator' of East (socialistic DDR) Germany, before 1989.
Kohl: "I'll let his country go bankrupt, and bury his GDR (Honecker's German democratic republic"
Honecker: "I'll plant a trojan (Merkel) right in his face, then not only his country will be bankrupt in 20 years, but the whole continent will be a GDR"

Mine...? Hardly. I'm more about things written and voiced by smarter guys than I am and already 40, 50, 60, 70 years ago, and about observations one could learn from in history books on the past 100, 200, 300 years. None of the worries haunting us today come as a surprise. They are all self-made, they all have been forseen, they all have been warned of. Against better knowledge, against wise advice.
This ignorrance is what brings us down. Our pitiful excuse of that we could not know. We could know - it has happened so often before, it is all laid out before our eyes, if only we would want to know.
But most do not want to know.
Seneca:

The beauty of that is that it also applies to all those fruit loop ideologies you subscribed to over the years, and still post as solutions now
