View Full Version : Best of Subsim 2013: Moderator of the Year

Where would Subsim be without its moderators? :06:
We can be thankful for a group of active, steady, and friendly mods. They routinely check forums, calm nerves, detect and brig spambots, report and infract rogues and help keep this place running smoothly. :salute:
This year we have two nominees for Moderator of the Year. We could easily nominate 8 more, but each year we have to settle on one. This is not a popularity contest, both nominees are well-regarded and great guys. The candidate who gets the most votes is just as good as the candidate who does not. This is simply a chance to select one mod for the year and bestow the honor, Best of Subsim 2013: Moderator of the Year.
Good luck! Campaigning allowed below.

Why can't we vote for both of them and they share the award like its an Academy Award? All the moderators deserve it as far as I'm concerned.:know:

Now this is a very tough poll.
If it were my shop, i would be darn lucky to have either of these guys watching the counter.

After some thought, I know which I'm going to vote for, but that in no way reflects on the remaining moderator (which I think would be obvious!).
Good luck, and best of British to both. :yeah:

Voted for the current underdog, looking for a tie :D
This is one of those cases where both should cross the finishing line hand in hand.
I'm also voting for a tie!

Dynamite comes in small packages.
Age and wisedom will overcome youth and enthusiasm most of the time.
:hmmm:
It's a fair match as long as it's posted to Youtube.

Since both Jim and Steve got a 2009 best of?
I'd vote a Special Ed type thing.
Both are Winners.
Give both of them a tiny little badge and call it even.
Or do the wrestling thing. With video!
:)
Watching you and Jim wrestling in 2008 was enough. :O:

Will Subsim become politically correct, all winners, no losers....NO to a tie...if they do tie, they should have to wrestle in mud or something

How can you choose.
So unfair.
I am going to give them both my vote.
By abstaining.

Well, look at it this way: at least it wasn't a tie, if that had happened they were gonna hold hands and kiss and then mud wrestle each other for the title while Tarjak filmed the entire event and then posted it for all of us to watch. Now that's not gonna happen.
So in a sense, we're all winners. :O:
