And this is a six year old... :o
Reminds me of a story I told before, some years ago, in Germany a young man, a student, was sentenced for sexual harassment in a bar. He had dared to raise his glass in a toast towards two young women at the other end of the bar. Witnesses said there was nothing offensive and aggressive. The two women sued him for sexual harassment, claiming they felt sexually harassed. The court judged in their favour.
Two years ago I was attacked by a women in her late 20s, carrying several bags, because I held the door open for her at a shopping mall. :hmph: The Zicke called it an offense and called it discriminating, and whether I assume she could not get along without a male's hand helping her out!?
Honestly said, my interest in other people in the streets is constantly waining and is almost non-existent now. Too many insanes walking around these days. I do my things and live the way I want when the door of my flat shuts behind me. I owe nobody anything, I expect nothing from anyone anymore. Having some troubles myself, I do not need foreigners intoxicating my life with their poisenous, biting little brain-worms any further. Idiots of the world - stay away from me!

I'd like to experience a bit of sexual harrassment (from a female) to find out what it is like.

Of course that raises the question of how it can be harrassment if she doesn't mind.

Men can no longer even smile at a woman without risking a lawsuit. Of course a woman can proposition any man she chooses. In their world this is called "equality".

It's funny, but where I live gender equality has advanced to a point where on more than one occasion I've had a woman offer to hold a door for me. When it happens I just smile and say "Thank you". I guess some of us have finally learned that being polite and helpful can actually extend from anyone to anyone.
On the other hand if someone complained that I held a door for them my response these days would be "Do you have something against people being polite to other people?"

Of course that raises the question of how it can be harrassment if she doesn't mind. It's called being offended on another persons behalf, even if the person in question isn't offended at all.

Seriously though, litigious people are just that. It's not a global conspiracy against men.

Why is the title of this thread "sexual harrassment" when it's about school staff possibly overreacting to something a pupil did (I say possibly because we don't nearly have the whole story, only a biased news article), and an anecdote about how a woman once did something to Skybird he didn't like?
Is there actually anything positive in your life?:88)He had a puppy once. Then it was kicked off a cliff by a Muslim.
Men can no longer even smile at a woman without risking a lawsuit.Yes, there are idiots out there. News at 10.
Of course a woman can proposition any man she chooses. In their world this is called "equality".Funny, I've never heard a woman refer to this as equality.

I guess some of us have finally learned that being polite and helpful can actually extend from anyone to anyone.Up to a few years ago, we Norsemen never held doors for each others. If you were walking through a doorway after another person, you had to expect to have to catch the closing door or have it slam in your face. Then we basically said, "you know, the foreigners hold the doors for one another and think we're rude who don't", and everyone just started doing it.
Guess we just skipped the whole discrimination stage.

What strikes me is the previous suspension and parent saying her child does have a history of disruptive behaviour in class.Which is quite an achievement by 6
So...I blame the parents:rotfl2:

I use to do work for Ralph Lauren. Before we could enter the building they went over all the rules, one was no looking at the women. When we reached that floor, probably 200 super model women wearing skirts to their bits walking around. We were also told if we happened to be alone near two women, such as an elevator, you had to say hey to both, not just one or say nothing at all.....It was a long silly list and the women there teased the heck out of my crews..

I remember getting pinched on my bottom by a girl in a disco. I never got to know her but it was lovely.
Years later, concindering myself as a nice decent chap, always treating women nicely and kindly in a true gentleman way. I was in a bar talking to a girl, drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, we even ate some cookies together which had some hash in them. All merry.
Then I pinched her on her bottom! No offence intended. Just showing that I liked her. Damn was she offended. He told some other guys sitting at the bar.
I had to leave quickly, very quickly so as not to get beaten up.

Several years ago I held a door open for a couple a man and a woman. The man got mad at me and said something about not needing a door open for him.Another male patron witnessed this and started arguing with the man after a few words they got into a fist fight.I split before any cops arrived who knows what they might have tried to charge me with.Who knows what the others might have tried to sue me for.
The way I see it it is only sexual harassment(or harassment of any form) when the "victim" does like the person making the proposition.
An old school friend of mine is a pipe layer up in Maryland his company gets many jobs at the U.S. Naval academy in Annapolis. He told me one day they where on a break and a female cadet walked past so one of the workers simply said "good afternoon" to her and she responded in kind and kept walking.A few minutes later two military police came up asking why the workers where harassing cadets. My friend explained that the only thing any of his workers had said to anyone all day was a neutral greeting. The cops explained that a female cadet had complained about being sexually harassed. My friend asked them if saying "good afternoon" to someone constitute sexual harassment they said that it did not then proceeded to warn them not to talk to any cadets.

I have been sexually harassed rather often by gay men, with my girl standing next to me. Usually rather funny. Sometimes a pain.
But gosh men are very aggressive when it comes to coming on.
It did make me know a little bit what it sometimes feels like to be a woman when harassed. Please no laughing at what I just wrote OK.

That was just an example of a snobby young woman and a power tripping MP.Of course I assume the the Australian armed forces have similar polices as the US does.In which case it makes no difference where the offense occurs.
Best bet these days it to wait for the woman to show some interest in you first. In other words until she makes it crystal clear that she desires intimacy dont try anything fresh.I suppose the snobby ones you just have to be careful of being a regular acquaintance would give you an advantage that someone like a crew worker who is not a part of the social group a disadvantage in knowing which women are crazy and which ones are CraZY.All the "unfitting" male midshipmen lkely already knew to avoid this one particular example of the "fairer sex".
Heck these days there is no real protection from frivolous claims really just getting accused is bad enough. But I do not plan on living in cave the rest of my life I'm guessing that you aren't either.
