I was in the rockies (Banff) skiing about 10 years ago, on the way back to the hotel one late afternoon, we came across 3 mountain goats, one on the side of the road, 2 on a rock ledge maybe 8-10 feet above the first one. As we came close, the first goat on the side of the road literally leaped up the rock face in a single bound to join the other two on the ledge. It was incredible, something you have to see live to believe.
