You know, this reminds me of a few year ago, where the police intercepted an internal memo of the yakuza. Its members were told not to participate in the black market. Their legitimate businesses were so profitable, the believe that every cent should be invested in their legitimate businesses instead.

The Wall street boys commit worse crimes, as they do what they do under the guise of "lawful federal regulations"
At least you know the Yakuza is wrong when they do what they do, they know they are wrong.
When our government, and its shills steal from us, we have zero recourse, at least with the Yakuza, they make no case about being honest like our government does.
I respect Yakuza more for being scumbag gangsters, than I do our own bankers pretending they are not, when they are way way worse in per capita damage caused.
I prefer the mafioso, to government at this point. Maybe it is because I am Sicilian by heritage.

a government run by corporations. Citizens United was a monstrous setback in the people's voice. Mega corporations and banks are starting to get just as powerful as they were in the times of rockefeller and true laissez-faire economics. We gave them an inch and they single-handedly tank the economy.
