...did a single mission the other day
and when I came I to load my career later it had vanished. like it had been deleted...?
any ideas..:oops:?

...has no one ever experienced this happening: load single mission - play single mission - exit single mission. then go to load saved career only to find it has gone - deleted?

...well, that would be a first then :yep:

I am sorry to say that this has never happened to me! I have been palying the game for a long time now...but Single mission never interfered with any of my car(r)eer. The only thing that has happened several time: the single mission made a CTD :Kaleun_Mad:
Hope you will find an answer.

Sorry matey but this is the first I have ever heard regarding this phenomena.

thanks chaps for posting up. not to worry. its a shame though, my crew were just coming into their own.
i'll just have to remember NEVER TO DO THAT AGAIN.:doh:

Go check your savegame files in the documents\SH3 folder. I'm sure they are still there. And while you are there, change the foldername of your Commander's name folder. Then restart the game. ;)

How stupid of me....add an 'x' to the title of the mission and it should reappear :oops:

it hasn't worked chaps, sorry.

I changed the folder name to a new name but saved career didn't reappear.
I put an 'x' in front of the name and that didn't take either.

@Jimbuna: never thought of you as stupid Jim...:salute:

it looks like i'll have to start my career again - shame, those boys were coming along nicely. thanks again:up:
