Egypt has expelled the Turkish amabassador and downgraded diplomatic relations to Erdoghistan. Reason: interference and too close ties of Turkey with the Muslim brotherhood, assistance to the resistance by the radicals, and anger over ongoing Turkish demands to reinstall Morsi's theocratic regime.

I wish us Germans would have the guts to act similarly towards Turkey - for the constant interference of their religion ministry and the DITIB with internal political affairs in "sovereign" Germany. The role these are given by our politicians, leads way too far.

Not to mention Sultan Erdoghan's notorious big mouth. You could park a truck inside of it, plus trailer.

P.S. That the EU and Obama will now oncde again hack away at the Egyptians, can be expected. But obviously the Egyptians have more urgent considerations on their mind than precious Western Islamophilia. Something that also found expression in the Saudis' recent rejection to accept the seat in the UNSC. I wonder if anyone in Obama's cabinet cared to listen for the shot?

Good for Egypt.

About Germany having guts; there seems to be a severe lack of intestinal fortitude throughout the western world these days.

Is that Egypt, the military dictatorship which has murdered over a thousand and locked up tens of thousands under martial law since it seized power in a coup?
I say bugger Egypt, and bugger Erdoghan too.
