This makes Ariel Castro look like a tooth fairy :o

What's wrong with these people? :nope:

Three women have been "rescued" from a south London house as police investigate claims they were held as slaves for at least 30 years.
Police arrested a 67-year-old man and a 67-year-old woman in Lambeth.

Well the article said "they were non-British"; this happens in the states with our middle eastern folk who cling to out-dated notions of servitude with their 'imported domestic help' often without reasonable pay or freedom to leave the premises. On two occasions, when appraising real estate over 15 years, I encountered normal looking homes, in normal neighborhoods, that were absolute garment sweatshops with all immigrant labor hunkered over their sewing machines. Generally 20 to 30 people and in Silicon Valley! Naturally, as a Licensed Federally Certified (mandated-ethics) Appraiser, just the code violation of a business in a residentially zoned 'hood was sufficient to contact the proper permits department. Due to excess wear on a dwelling not intended for 30 people, the loan process would end there as well. The 'Land o' opportunity $$' oft' conflicts with the 'land o' the free'!:hmmm:

Nationality is not a consideration plus one of the women was a thirty year old Brit.

The Met police said the initial call to Freedom Charity was made by the Irish captive on 18 October, after the women had watched a documentary about forced marriage.

Let's hear it for documentaries. :Kaleun_Applaud:
