Fallout 4 might be on the horizon, at least if you want to believe the discoveries of Reddit (http://www.reddit.com/r/Fallout/comments/1qn5fx/the_survivor_2299_speculation_and_hype_megathread/). The website, thesurvivor2299.com (http://thesurvivor2299.com/), has apparently been registered by Bethesda. Morse code beeps in the background, which translates to "11-12-13". A countdown is counting down towards December 11, which would be the date 11-12-13 using European dating style. The conclusion is that on that day, Bethesda will announce the next Fallout game

I am not going to jump on the band wagon myself.It is going to be what it is going to be and when they start giving out details some people will be pleased and some will bitch and moan just as with every other game and then they will still buy it and bitch and moan.


This is all part of the hype game which the gaming industry has been following for years.Carrot hung from a string to lure you.I am fine with the concept of advertising which to some extent with most products the method is to hype things to some extent.I just think that personally the gaming industry does it too much.

I liked the two recent Fallout titles just fine myself seems reasonable that 4 will be on par so I'll just wait for it to come out once they release solid information I'll make my decision.Of course I doubt there will be a reason to pass.

Not sure what to think of this. If it really is Fallout 4...I will probably shoot through the roof with excitement.

Like I said I am not a big fan of the hype thing but obviously they are going to release Fallout 4. I would guess that it will not be coming out until well into 2014 at the closet like Q3/4 which thus far is the established time period for Fallout titles coming from Bethesda.

The other factor is that Bethesda has several other projects active that they have been working on so those will be completed before they get to the nitty gritty of making a huge AAA title like Fallout 4.

Until you hear it from the horses mouth it means nothing as far as I am concerned.

Well of course they are going to make a Fallout 4.the rumors about it being set in Boston are wrong though.that is old news a rumor that Bethesda quashed by making a special media display that said in a very clever manner....wrong!!This was all nearly a year ago now.

The teaser sight is a hoax.Not sure why the Boston rumor is alive again after it got quashed by Bethesda nearly a year ago.Most likely people not having anything solid to talk about but wanting to talk.


Fallout 4 will be released that is a fact until Bethesda makes an official announcement at their site(trust me you'll know when they do) anything you see or hear is nothing but people hyping things and making rumors so their little gaming site gets hits.
