Round them up and send them harvesting acid gases on Venus :arrgh!:
That's OK Jim.
What chocked me most, is that most of those who was arrested worked with children, Teachers, doctors, priest etc
I truly hope, that ONE day, the doctors can, by making some kind of a DNA-screening, see if a person is into young people/children.
I know it would be quite controversy, if every adult person Had to do such a thing before starting a job where children is involved.

perhaps more of a psychological analysis over a long period of time.
I think that those people who tend to be "into kids" a fair amount of the time were sexually abused as children themselves.

You are right, I just hope. Today the doctors can a lot by screening a persons DNA. So maybe in the future.

I don't think we'll ever stop it or even know how bad it is. Seems I once read a study that 70% of American girls are sexully abused at least once during childhood, usually by a relative.
I saw the documentary "Are All Men Pedophiles.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Are_All_Men_Pedophiles%3F
"The film which carries the tagline "Eighteen Is Just A Number" advances the claim that all men are hebephiles, that is they are attracted to teenagers, and argues that society needs to make a distinction between this and true pedophilia—sexual attraction to prepubescent children"
I don't know the future or how future laws will be designed. I do sense a father/daughter disconnect physically, which is sad, because girls learn love from fathers. However, I know many men that fear to be touchy with their kids. We're also seeing numerous teens arrested for dating/consensual sex with younger classmates, many states the law is 3 years. We had a case here where a Sr. was arrested for having sex with his 14 year old freshman girlfriend.....by her parents.
As for prepubescent children, I say cut their nuts off......

Seen that movie and that's absolutely not the way I want it.
Let give an example(fiction)
A man seeks a job on a school. He leaves some blod to the authorities
This screening leaves some trace- saying that he are ..heterosexual, or gay or Bi or something else...the test show that this man has no interest in children. The man gets the job.
An another example and from the real life in Sweden.
When a person seeks a job where children is involved, this person have to leave a criminal records, however this records is only showing if this person has a sexual sentence not if he or she have been jailed for having stealed a car or have been committed a intrusion.
So any form of selection like the movie Gattaca is not what I had in mind, except exclude these sick people.

I am not an expert on DNA but I am willing to bet that there is no way to tell via a persons DNA what their sexual preference is (or will be) or if they may or may not hold an attraction towards underage people.
In all human interactions there is an element of self control that the majority of humans maintain.A man might see an attractive girl who is underage yet does the correct thing and does not act on it and in many cases the attraction occurs before the age is known.
Even if all parties are of age you still have elements of control most men might desire to have sex with a woman yet they do not just rape her or make inappropriate contact.I fail to see how DNA would be able to tell who is first not attracted to children and second that they will not try to simply rape any adult that they are attracted to.
This is the realm of the mind not DNA and we understand so little about the human mind and how it works I think we a very long way from simply scanning a persons brain to tell all about them and even if we did it is highly unethical. What if a government wanted to know if a person has a rebellious nature? Another problem if a person is a pedophile in their mind they feel that what they desire is not wrong so how if a person feels this in their mind will it show up? the same way it would in anyone else because arousal is for all people occurs in the same part of the brain. You would have to actually show a person images of adults both male and female to gauge if they have any arousal or not and you can figure out the rest I think.
The entire topic is strange to some though.I recall reading on newspaper website an article about some pedophile getting busted.More than one person posted that all of the people involved in the case should be sent to prison.I found that a bit strange like someone trying too hard to distance themselves.
