I have read this rather often lately. Guys and girls, what is meant by a steam game?

Steam is a sort of online store for games. You can buy and download games through steam, without having to go out of your house. Contrary to what some people will tell you, Steam games can be played offline. Steam also functions as a community, and it has a chat feature, allowing you to chat with friends, even if you're not in the same game. You can also add non-Steam games to your Steam library, so the chat feature can be used with them as well.

There's also a Subsim Steam group :arrgh!:

Ah! Thank you.

You're welcome :salute:

One of the best games on Steam is Team Fortress 2. It's free, although you do have to pay for additional content.

And the best bit - Steam has regular sales, big ones to tie in with holidays, but there's always something on sale with Steam. Discounts can be very generous. :yeah:

An example I purchased SH3 for a pitly 2 dollars during a summer sale about 2 years back.

If you have any troubles with the steam version of SH3 (if you have it) there is a link to one of my threads with several How To videos.

They never seem to have what I want but that could be due to the fact I'm not an avid gamer these days.

ALSO some steam games have "workshops" which is a thing that contains player created mods for that game, and all you have to do to install said mods is click "subscribe" on the mod page and steam does the rest, mind you though you still risk mod confliction.
