So I am taking recommendations on a new game controller - joystick style....
I have a couple of requirements.
First, it needs to be force feedback.
Second it needs to be 16 buttons, twist and have a throttle.
I don't need a full FCS layout, nor do I want to spend a fortune. So - what would you all recommend?

I have a great recommendation...but it isn't 16 buttons...
Might I ask why you need 16 buttons? :hmmm:

Sure - X3 for example.
I have an Logitech Extreme 3d Pro - and have had about 3 of them over the years.
In X3 for example, I map the 4 near the HOTAS to previous/next object /target. The 6 on the base are mapped to jump, comm, docking, map, SETA and scan.
2 on the stick itself are for guns and missiles.
OK - so I can't count. It has to be a 12 button minimum, not 16.
Twist and throttle are also constantly used.
I don't require force feedback, but I would like to have it.
So 12 button, z twist, throttle required.

Well, I'm not a whole lot of help but I can recommend the Logitech Wingman Force 3D. It has 7 buttons and has never failed me in 10 years. :)
It's the one I always recommend, but, you need to DL a special driver for it on modern computers because of how old it is.
