Just when you thought the garbage of society could sink no lower :nope:

The home of a woman who recently died has been burgled while her funeral was taking place.
The house on Cheshire Square, Carrbrook, Stalybridge, Greater Manchester, was broken into on Monday between 13:00 and 18:30 GMT.
The occupants, a 48-year-old man and the 11-year-old girl, were burying their partner and mother at the time.

Ten years ago my friend Rocky's wife died. They buried her in southern Utah, near the desert canyons she loved to hike it. Rocky asked me to house-sit for the three days they were out of town, because burglars read funeral notices for that very reason.

I think most of us know how low the garbage of society can sink.

Look at the stuff that happened ca. 70 years back around the world and then tell me again that it's getting sicker. I think we made good progress compared to those times.

That stinks when low lifes do something like that, hope they catch them quick!! We had some rather bold bastids running around up here for a bit! They would read the papers looking for notices about wedding receptions. They then would go o these parties and while everyone was having a good time, they would steal some of the wedding gifts while every one else wasn't looking, mostly stealing cash gifts!

When opportunity knocks, there's usually a criminal at the door.:nope:

Several years ago, here in Southern California, there was an organized gang of burglars who would target homes of those whose obituaries would appear in the local papers. They would make note of the funeral date and time and strike at those times. There is not a place hot enough in hell for those crooks...

If scumbags were submarines, they could bottom themselves in the Marianas trench without much effort.
