did you download the game or is it on disc?

there might be patch issues. you'll need the European one if your software is European. its the 1.4 patch for Silent Hunter3. I cant find the link. some one will come along soon with better advice than me...just be patient, I have to go to bed...:up:

Pay attention to which world region you bought the game from: USA or EMEA.

If you just bought it, chances are it is already patched to 1.4b. Look in the lower right corner of the main screen and see if it says 1.4b there, if so, you are good to go.
