I was a late fan of this show, watched the first two seasons this summer and loved it.The third season began in September and started slow, I thought oh no they ruined a great show but it was part of the plot, last weeks episode was good and the episode that aired tonight was excellent, the ending was :salute:.The guy who plays Saul should get an emmy. Anyone else a fan? Agree? disagree? TV is about 95% crap now with shows like Duck Dynasty, and solid, well written, shows are pretty rare except on HBO and Showtime, which is sad.Scandal is a pretty good show.Breaking Bad was great but over now.Homeland takes the number one spot though:arrgh!:

One of my favorites and also one of those shows who keep me alive until Game of Thrones returns in April 2014.
Anyways, Homeland is a little Gem. I agree on Saul, the actor is top notch. Also Claire Danes surprised me in this show. I haven't seen that much from her and remember her mostly from Romeo and Juliet, which was... a long time ago (1996?)
She is very convincing as a psychic/burned out CIA agent. Again the most annoying character is "the Wife" (just like in Walking Dead and Breaking Bad) but that's really it. Besides that, cool show and I am still not smarter about Brody.
Haven't seen the latest episode yet though.

With the absence of Nikita till later this month, the end of Breaking Bad, no sign of the next series of Under the Dome or GoT until next year, I may have to give Homeland a viewing at last to interject between the stale The Walking Dead and the excellent The Big Bang Theory.

I followed the first season with great interest - and met the second with total desinterest. I think they squeezed it too much, should have ended the plot after the first season and in a more "closed" final - and should have left it to that. I think the same about the Jack Bauer series, btw - it's overdone.
The German TV station broadcasting the German version of Homeland complains about dramatical drops in viewers, too. First season was a hit for them - second season a disaster so far.
I agree on the actors, however. They are very good.

I too watch this show. Pretty good stuff, but seeing Carrie's face as she struggles not to cry every episode is unintentionally funny. Kinda like when Sheriff Rick is talking to someone on Walking Dumb, he always stares at their shoulder and cocks his head to one side like a scraggly bird.
But yeah, Homeland: good.

Danes definitely surprised me, never counted her as a great actress until saw her on Homeland. The wife is definitely annoying but is easy on the eyes so is tolerable. The daughter story line is the most annoying part, glad it's over or seems to be.
