I have been trying to buy (in Uk) the board game U boat leader but where ever i look its out of stock and also there seems to be a new one coming out called The Hunters -- german submarines at war 1939 to 43, anyone know anything about these games please

I got SILENT WAR, the Pacific predecessor of STEEL WOLVES.

I would have to give it a mixed review. It has it's good points, but falls short in some ways.

I was wondering about GATO LEADER. Does anyone know much about that one?

Bumping the topic, as this is a really good board game. Recently the owners of the game published all necessary materials to make the game yourself:

Eventually you still will want to buy one as the quality will be superior, but it's good to use it as a demo. They also published ZunTzu and Vassal modules for the game, if you want to try it without printing.

This board game actually help me to understand the basic U-boat tactics and made me install SH3 ;).

It adds much more depth to the game....in fact it is actually U Boat Leader 2.0
