Configuring SFX?

I am annoyed at how "quiet" the diesel room is :nope:
Is there any way to crank the dB's up a few notches in the room or is the sound loop just a .wav file? Venatore's U-Boat Propulsion SFX is awesome but I can hardly hear the damn thing.

Never mind. Got my mod list sorted out and now it's loud as all get out. I have to shut the hatch to down out the sound :up:

How did you do that? Show us your list.

I guess I got the mod in the correct order. I think it may had been overwritten before. Now the engines are good and loud :-)
