I've been a sim guy forever starting with falcon 1 (?) as my first serious sim. On to Air Warrior, graphics nothing like today. Viewing window was maybe 2 inches by 3 inches on my Mac SE. No PC version in original game, just Atari and Mac. I bought a Mac toaster (SE) just to play the very first massively multiplayer online game at $6 per hour. Nuts by todays standard. eh
I started ICI with Dale, Robert and John way back when. Our first game Warbirds did very well (GOTY with CGW). Dale went on to do Aces High inside his own company. I did Motorsims (Moto 1) with NHRA, AMA and eventually moved to contract work only. Sims were challenged in the PC world and I couldnt generate the budget to do it right.
Have owned all the SH series in the past. Love it. Couldn't find my copy so I downloaded it from Amazon. It sure has come a long way since I left it a few years back. Obviously because of a great community.
Havent seen SH 5 yet, wanted to get back up to speed with SH4 first.
I think this is going to be fun.
