View Full Version : Subsim acting weird now and then
Don't know how to explain this phenomenon that happens to me just about every day I visit Subsim and some of it's forums
Before I continue-I haven't clean cookies if that is your first thought.
Let me give you an example
I left GT between 0230 and 0300 CET the last thread I read was Favorite Star Trek movie and I even posted an answer to Oberon.(Seems that I'm not correct here)
On saturday afternoon I went back to Subsim and GT clicked on those thread that I follow(I click on the blue arrow(go to first new post) and it takes me to e.g page 5 and to where I last have read. I even read Oberon's answer to me
So far so good. I close Subsim after have read all those thread that have my interest and after have posted some answer in some of them
Later in the evening when I return I again click on this Blue arrow and it takes me to...no not the last posting but to the page I started with earlier this afternoon e.g page 5.
I don't know how I else should explain this weird way Subsim and the forum act mostly.
I could understand if I had cleaned my cookies or had made it automatic to clean everytime i close the Internet, I haven't done none of these.

That is what I have accepted as the norm myself...I'll try cleaning the cookies and see if that alters things but tbh I'm quite happy experiencing the same as you are.

Hey! Leave me out of this! I don't know anything about any blue arrows! I didn't do it and you can't prove anything! :shifty:

You only provide me with red pills so I stop seeing these blue arrows :D

Occasionally I find that if I select new posts that it tells me there are none even though I was here eight hours ago, if I select 'Today's Posts' from the quick link drop-down then they're all there.
It doesn't bother me much.

Me either, but sometimes it's quite irritating when You return after a day and a thread is on page 5 and you read what people have posted to page e.g 8 and when you return after a few hours and press on this blue arrow in the same thread it takes me back to page 5 and not page 8 or 9. that's sometimes irritating.

I am in the same belief of blaming Steve.
He is the agent Smith of the forum.
blue arrows are a glitch in the matrix.
Steve has taken note of your awareness. ;)

If you did you would become aware, then the sentinels (Agent Steve) would come find you.
Just enjoy the steak, even though it isn't steak.
(I can go on for days with Matrix references)

I'd welcome Steve any day, but you are the one they warned me about. :03:

:hmmm:Perhaps we are ALL at :subsim: to learn the "arrow' of our ways and thus, by striving, (pointedly) achieve a NIRVANA like enlightenment?:sunny::sign_yeah::Kaleun_Smile: :damn:
The arrow is our zen.
Our Ohm.
Our balance.
It is heaven and earth.
Ohhhhhhhhh-mmmmmmmmm
Subsim rules, I just found eternal peace thanks to you all.:03:
