Upgraded to Win 8.1. Started SH 5, Uplay auto updated. Sh 5 appears to be running OK

Only tried SH 5 and SH 4 for a few minutes, both seemed to run fine.

I upgraded too but the game sometimes freezes up to 1-2 seconds and then moves on. I noticed that the software does not load everything when I start but just in small particles after I am in the boat.
Can this be because of cache loading settings?
