HOPKINTON, NH (CBS) – Two men who allegedly broke into a Hopkinton, New Hampshire business on Tuesday morning were killed in a massive explosion, officials said

True, I thought it happened accidentally and didn't read careful enough I guess.
Was wondering how one can accidentally detonate a grenade... then again. In Russia, everything can happen.

The Thin Red Lne comes to mind 'During the battle, a squad led by Sergeant Keck (Woody Harrelson (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woody_Harrelson)) hides behind a swell safe from enemy fire to wait for some reinforcements. Keck reaches for a grenade but accidentally pulls the pin and dies in the process.'

Yeah hanging grenades by the pin ring or even by the lever is a very dangerous thing to do.

Additionally, we always splayed the ends of the safety pin.

But yeah, I cringe every time I see a movie with soldiers hanging grenades by the spoon.
