You have Dr. Pepper in UK?! I miss that and Root Beer very much. When I travelled to Pittsburgh back in 2003 to see my former teachers and friends, my first meal was at Arby's, I had a Beef'n Chedar and a Root Beer, as I missed those very much. Fast food, I know, but I love it. We had Arby's here for a while some years ago, but for some reason it disappeared. I don't care for "Mcstuff".
Re OT, my current poison is tea, Earl Grey, hot.

Yup, we have Dr Pepper, and I drink far far too much of it. It's funny, I didn't want to try it at first, because I (like many others I'm sure) thought it actually had Pepper in it but I had a can once when I was down in Kent, and liked it ever since.

Kind of funny that Dr Pepper was ask for by requesting "to shoot me a Waco" way back.
:haha:
Yes. It was invented in Waco, Texas.

In the summer two cups of regular in the morning, decaf goes on about 6PM. Use to could drink 10 cups of regular a day, but started giving me the shakes, so I cut back.
Sometimes I thin it with a shot of Jack Daniels in the evening

. . . and a glass of Port.
A fine choice, sir.
I used to drink about a dozen large cups of coffee in the crew room during a day, one or two more with each meal, and wonder why I couldn't sleep until 3am. Then I switched to decaf in the crew room and my nights were instantly better. Now I rarely touch coffee with caffeine.

I'll drink many things, but favourites are good real ale (none of this fizzy keg waffle), dry white wine, powerful red wine, Pimms as made by my wife (1 part lemonade to 3 parts Pimms and stiff with fruit and pepped up with chillies marinated in it), assorted cocktails, dark rum, G&T, whisky (although only rarely as it gives me a banging headache the next day) and my favourite shooter 'Flat Liner' which is tequila, sambuca and Tabasco sauce. This sorts the men from the boys!

Don't forget Ernie :)
Mug of Mocha coffee...Mmmm.
In the morning I like a large cup of hot tea - strong, with a little sugar. I use Nestea so I can make it as strong as I want. I've never drank coffee.
In the summer, when it's hot, I'll drink Gatorade, the lemon-lime variety.
At night, before I go to bed, I often have a glass of Coca-Cola (or the generic stuff) with some chocolate cookies, while reading a good book. I like the vanilla Coke, as well.
3 or 4 beers this arvo whilst watching Bathurst 1000 and now the Suzuka F1 GP is starting. Bliss.

The English FA have doubled the quota of tickets for the away fans 9,000 > 18,000 because they fear the stadium will not be full to capacity due to the fact it will be televised.
The truth of the matter is (from a fans viewpoint) England are not all that good these days and even if they do qualify are not expected to progress far.

Make it like my high school football (gridiron) days, where all the players (and fans) fought the blood rival after the game. The fight afterwards meant more than the game. (I grew up in a rough area)
Televise the game, but charge for the fight on pay per view.. Tickets would sell out, even if the team sucked.
